Everything...

My friend called me to set up a lunch date. She had some exciting news to tell.

Primarily that she and her new husband had put their house on the market, and sold it within 3 days. They were moving to the Northeast.

It had been their vision and their dream for a very long time and now it was becoming their shared reality.

She wanted to get together one last time for lunch to say goodbye, farewell, bon voyage. I was sad to see them leave, but excited for their future together. Change is a powerful catalyst, and the only constant in this life.

As I meditated and thought about the friendship and the power of this woman and her husband and the work that they do for others; the way they selflessly guide both me and countless others along the path I was overcome with a sense of joy, ease, and gratitude.

I got an empty envelope. Sealed it shut and wrote her name on the front of it and when we were at lunch I slid it across the table to her.

She opened the envelope with a quizzical look upon her face; seeing that there was nothing in the envelope.

"There's nothing in here" she laughed?

"No, my friend, there's everything in there actually", I smiled back. "You have everything! No matter where you go, no matter what you do, you have everything you need from Source".

And she began to cry, and laugh, and know the truth of it.
